    Thanks to the sister of the Dubai winner....I appreciate hearing how one may 'perhaps' win. I have never tried as I do not have many points yet.

    One more question if I may, do you know if he entered lots on each day or did he wait until near the end of the time frame and enter all $700,000 at once?

  52. Just wondering how the heck you manage to buy anything from the Jack store.

    I was logged in at 11:59 for the $30 GC to Deerfoot mall and updated the second it turned 12:00 p.m.

    The buy option was available for a few seconds and I clicked it and was then prompted for the two security words to ensure it was the prize I wanted.

    I quickly filled out the special "words" and by the time that was done, it said the product had sold out.

    The time on my clock was 12:00 and 30 seconds, so literally they sold out in the item in less than 30 seconds?

    What's the point in collecting points if I can't even manage to purchase an item within 30 seconds of it becoming available? Anyone else have this problem?

    What a hugeeee waste of time!

    I was lucky enough to get drawn for the Oil Tycoon trip to Mexico. I had around 5 million points and they were about to start expiring so I put the works on the trip all at one time, and WON !!!

  69. Wow, Congratulations to Anon at 3:20 for winning the Oil Tycoon trip to Mexico....I think this "all or nothing" method may work!!! Now we all need millions of points or dollars and will have to try to not 'cancel each other out' when trying to win something!!

    I have only won tickets to various trade shows at the Convention Centre...I think the winners of the "go shopping" sections must have very fast computers and be very lucky. I find it frustrating also but I guess to get free stuff for 'pretend money' is pretty cool and we all will have to continue to be patience and just keep trying.

    This blog is almost more fun than entering the codes into the radio stations anyway...we hear about traffic, illnesses and parties, what more could we ask for.

  70. For those that gripe about not winning anything: goto fan 960 and buy the Hanna Montana dvd game for 12000 points. Yikes! Or motorcylce show in red deer on cjay. These have been there for days. Most other good ones are gone in seconds. Like 2 seconds!
    I've got about $500 in prizes in the last few months so I am not complaining. Only loosing out on free time that's all.

  86. First, yellow does not work on 660 either, they have been notified of the 2 errors tonight, hopefully they will do something to correct this problem.
    Also, I agree with anon@8:31, my daughter would love that hannah montana thingy. But i only get 100 points a day, and i absolutely love football and hockey,the reason i joined the sports site, the fan should really consider putting up some sports prizes.

  95. Hi Netty - sorry for the late post but I work evenings. I tape Ugly Betty then zoom thru it for the bonus code. Something very strange is going on. I did not see any code for Lite 96 (I guess it's possible I missed it but I don's think so) but they did have the code for Jack fm, which is stamp, which they gave out on their website today to make up for last night's missing code. Jack had no SVU code again tonight. Then there's 660 News. Three nights in a row they have given 'warning' as the code and of course you can only get the points once. I tried 'yellow' and it said I already received points for it so it must be an old code. Bottom line - no bonus points for any of the 'Rogers' stations tonight.

I wish I could record those shows and go through it quickly, it really does hurt to watch City TV for 2 hours each night LOL! I've noticed when Nick (Rogers Webmaster) gives out bonus codes to make up for missed ones all he does is give out the next day or two codes, so when they appear that night and you enter them you get the 'already entered" message, so you really don't get any make-up codes. He did it again with 'stamp'. It was supposed to make up for Wed. repeat of 'banjo' but was actually's tonights code, which showed up during Ugly Betty!
